You may be working on your barn one time and find that the animal is sitting and looks so weak because of pain. You need to feed him well and walk him as a way of exercising. Healthy lifestyle should be part of the overall treatment. It could also happen for those horses that are intended for race, show and sale.

This condition may happen gradually but it can cause continuous lameness. It is indeed difficult to detect the sickness during the early stage as it will just worsen given the time. You will only find them suffering from high pain and lameness which will be determined earlier.

The correct way is to keep them healthy all the time by providing good food and letting them walk or travel with you. You need to ride them of course as one way of exercising. Let them live a better life by being a responsible owner as well.
